Kathy's towel bag

Kathy's Beach Towel Bag


A multi-purpose bag that also serves as a beach towel.
Instructions
Supplies
  • 1 large beach towel
  • 3/4 yard nylon webbing for handles
  • 1/2 yard fabric
  • 1 zipper (optional)
Assemble The Patch:
  • Cut 2 18" squares
  • Sew right side, leave opening and turn
  • Stitch 3 sides to lower edge of towel on the wrong side, in the center
  • You may sew small pockets onto the patch used for keys, comb, cell phone etc.
  • Stitch handles on the 18" patch along the sides
Assembly
  • Turn bag right side out
  • Fold towel into thirds
  • Continue folding until tucked inside of bag
